“Charity did the make-up for my bridesmaids and for me on my wedding day. I had seven bridesmaids… No, like really, SEVEN. PLUS me. Also, my wedding was about an hour and a half outside of Minneapolis. Charity knew all of this before agreeing to do the make-up and still said ‘yes’.
Charity did everything a bride-to-be could hope for — she scheduled a pre-wedding meeting with a couple of my bridesmaids to finalize the make-up for the day; she showed up early to the wedding location (before me if I’m remembering correctly) ensuring that I wouldn’t stress over where she was or when she was coming; she waited patiently the morning of while my crazy wedding party figured out where to go, when to go, and how to do it; and, in the midst of all the chaos, she was wise enough to take her time and work deliberately on each woman.
I could not have been happier with the way I looked on my wedding day. The make-up was exactly what I wanted and exactly what I envisioned. Charity was professional, enthusiastic, and a real calming presence in the chaos of the day. I would recommend her for any event — but I would be remiss if I didn’t especially recommend her for your wedding day. She knows that it’s not about making you look like somebody you’re not. Rather, it’s about highlighting the beauty that you are.”

She came by during the consult and went along with a photo that I wanted to look like. After I decided that it didn’t suit me, she told me what would work. On the wedding day I left it up to her and it was perfect. People were specifically commenting on how great my makeup looked. And even now, months later, I’m still being reminded by people of how nice my makeup and my bridesmaids’ makeup looked. My makeup also held from getting ready all the way until after the dance which is perfect because with the amount of photos you take, you want to look flawless for as long as possible!

Whenever someone else does my makeup I almost always need to tweak them a little.
